Convertion of AIRS data from HDF to NetCDF and final to a boundary file
Conversion Routines
The needed IDL scripts and FORTRAN programs are under control of the CVS (Concurrent Version System) utility. To get the code the environment variable CVSROOT must be set to /usr/nfs/software/icg1/archive. The command
cvs co -P airs
creates a directory airs in the current working directory and copies the current version of the package to this directory.
Documentation
The directory airs contains a folder doc, where the usage is documented. The documentation can also be found here.
Boundary Files
The created boundary files are stored in the directory:
/usr/nfs/data/met_data/clim/config
